Great food, super cheap, great service, hidden gem for sure.
Right off the bat the musty smell was off putting. Ambiance was non existent, the space is vast but empty - three tables of customers including my party of 1 on a weekday night. I ordered yellow curry seafood, which came after 25 mins with way too much stale potatoes. Everything acceptable but nothing spectacular.
Love the pad thai here
Food was good. Place looked very clean.
Ordered takeout. The place felt really old. The greeen chicken curry and red beef curry weren't up to par. The best part of the green curry were the eggplants. This place didn't live up to the reviews.
amazing food been going there for over 20yrs
One of my all time favourite restaurants in Windsor. Having worked my way through a lot of the menu, I've never been disappointed. My favourite is to order any of the vegetable dishes and add tofu. They have some of the best tofu in town! It's always crispy and delicious.
Green curry and shrimp chips are great. Other dishes are meh.
This place is a hidden gem for sure. Great food, great prices. Friendly service too. Can't go wrong.
The food is always great at a good price and the service is just as amazing.
Our favourite place in the city for years! Love the curry dishes, Peanut Sauce chicken, Thai Spicy noodles and my boyfriend is addicted to the tofu/chicken Pad Thai.
This place is a fun experience and the food is quite good. It can get very spicy, however, so make sure to keep that in mind if that's not your thing.
BEST FOOD IN WINDSOR! Tru the coconut chicken soup or the chicken phat thai. You will not be disappointed. Also has very large portions for a very low price.
Best thai food in the city.
This place has been a Windsor staple for many years and it's delicious every single time. Great friendly service!
Been coming here for years. I've sinced moved out of town but drive back just to eat at my favourite restaurant! Their pad thai is killer.
Food was good but we waited almost 40 minutes for our food. Restaurant wasnt busy.
Easy Menu. Fast Service. Delicious Vegetarian Option.
Cheap and relatively quick for food, they have pad thai, curries, and other indian and eastern dishes. Its a basement restaurant! Great for birthdays, events, dinner or dates, great deal for the cost. No delivery.
Always great food and service here.
Need to post menu on google like PDF file so your customers can see what your prices are and what you guys cook..
Place needs brightening up big time, could be much much nicer. Friendly staff. I love their pad thai, the best ever!!! And great prices!
Definitely the best pad Thai in Windsor. I have never had a bad meal here
I can't get enough of their yellow curry. My friend swears by their pad thai. One of the best restaurants in Windsor!
My favourite restaurant in Windsor! It is not fancy, but the food is great! I've tried most of the menu and everything has been delicious!A hidden gem!
Ignore the hates and the Nay Sayers. This place is an absolute gem. I have been coming here for about 13 years now.. it is a guaranteed stop whenever I am back in Windsor. The Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes here. And like most Thai restaurants it is different than moat other places. My top choice here would habe to be the Peanut Sauce Chicken.. I have never had this dish made better anywhere else. The rest of the menu is good too Ginger Beef, Hot and Sour Soup.. you name it.. it is good.. the best drink offering was the Thai ice tea but unfortunately they stopped serving it years ago.. maybe this review will convince them to bring it back... final thoughts just eat here.. if you don't like it don't blame basil court for your lack of good taste!
Food is absolutely delicious Every. Single. Time. Love their Basil dishes, Green Curry Chicken, Peanut Sauce Chicken and, of course, Pad Thai. All with extra veggies and a Medium spice level. SO GOOD!Service can sometimes be slow, especially if they're busy. But that's to be expected.
Great time tai food
We waited for our food for almost 30 minutes and it wasnt busy at all. There's like 3 tables. When we received our appetizer platter after 30minutes or so it was a cold appetizer platter. We waited for another 20mins for our food to come out. Food is mediocre. Servers were really pleasant and helpful.
They have very good pad Thai. I suggest the vegetable pad Thai with tofu. The wait staff are friendly. The drinks are a good price.
Overall really like the price of the food was very affordable. But I personally didn’t really like the food didn’t have enough flavor. Also some of the food was over cooked And dry. As well as the customer service was not the best when I asked what was one of the popular items on the menu did not get a straight answer. But it was a very nice quiet space to eat.
One of our favourite places to eat! Thai Spring Rolls, Coconut Chicken Soup, Pad Thai and Spicy Thai Noodles are our go-to menu items but you really can't go wrong whatever you order! The price is phenomenal for the quality and amount of food you get, one plate of pad thai could easily feed two people! Leftovers are always nice! Service is fast and friendly, don't let the decor make you shy away, the place is clean! Perhaps not "fine-dinning" but the price is just FINE with me!
You can't beat Basil Court. Everyone gets the Phad Thai but it's different than what you'd expect.
I've been coming here with my wife for more than 5 years and no other pad Thai we've had has been comparable. While the location can be a little inconvenient to access during heavy downtown traffic it is well worth it. Don't let the dated look of the interior mislead you, the majority of their business is take-out so if you do eat in there will be lots of space and a quiet/relaxing atmosphere. While the food is great, we are always happy to see the wonderful staff here. If you become a regular they will recognize you by your order and take the time to see how you're doing. Really lovely people who clearly work very hard to deliver the experience they do.
We went for dinner. The service was good. The pad Thai mediocre. We had a party of five. Regardless of what heat level requested, they all seemed the same. The only bar beverages were beer. If we ever go again it would be for lunch
This place has delicious food and service is great! Everything taste great- from soups, salad, noodles and rice dishes! If you love Thai food, this is the place where you want to dine!
The best pad Thai in Windsor without a doubt!
Best Green curry I have ever had!
Great deals for lunch, though this hidden gem is in the basement it's worth the trek down the marble stairs. Sometimes busy during lunch time, recommend ordering ahead if you are in a rush, never had an issue modifying a meal or asking for a substitution, been eating here for 15 plus years
The food was very average. We are Thai food lovers and all the Cashew Chicken was was stir fry in sauce. Absolutely the worst atmosphere ever. A dingy basement with half the lights left off. Probably best as I am sure it is to hide something. You could barely see in the bathroom. The state of the fish tank only added to the depressing atmosphere. My son felt sorry for them and just wanted to leave.
Very good food and service. I go here with my friends. Basil or shrimp chicken is very good
Staff was very nice and service was quite timely. The #9 Pad Thai is the best Pad Thai I have had yet! Plus a small price tag for the cherry on top. I just went back for my second time in less than a week.
My wife and I ate here for the first time. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. We ordered chicken in peanut sauce and the chicken and shrimp Pad Thai. Both were excellent! The service was also very good.
It's as if a ketchup base is being used for their pad thai it was gross!!!! But thats just the pad thai
Authentic flavour and charming historic place.
I have been going to Basil Court for the better part of ten years. I usually order #113, the Thai spicy noodles with tofu & extra veggies. Sooooo good & doesn't disappoint. I ignore the musty basement smell because that dish is so on point.
Really good food made when you order and no issues with MSG.
My favorite place to get thai food in Windsor. Flavors are on point. Service is always fast and friendly. Have been eating here for years and have never had an issue.
Great lunch stop - good food and very clean dining area. A bit dimly lit, and the marble steps leading down to the entry are very worn.
Basil court fried rice shrimp and vegetables...its my favourite.
